After three days of investigations into the crime of the musician and cultural leader Lisandro Vallecilla, murdered in the middle of an auction at the Petronio Álvarez Pacific Music Festival in Cali, the authorities identified the attacker.

According to the mayor of Cali Jorge Iván Ospina, the attacker is a well-known criminal from the Ciudad Córdoba neighborhood, to the east of the city where the events occurred.

"In this investigation, we have verified security cameras and we already have some identified faces and we will take out a flyer to disseminate and since there is a reward of $30 million pesos, the idea is that, with the help of the community, we can find the capture of this subject who committed this homicide," said Colonel William Quintero, deputy commander of the Cali Metropolitan Police.

According to the officer, although it had previously been reported that the musician from the Canalón de Timbiquí group had died due to an act of intolerance resulting from a fight, police investigations revealed that Vallecilla was the victim of a stray bullet.
