An inspection filter by the police, a motorcyclist and the recklessness of the two left three people seriously injured during a checkpoint that took place on the Trujillo-Huanchaco highway, La Libertad, in Peru, this Friday night .

This is an intervention that was carried out by the police from the Huanchaco police station in an area that motorcyclists have used to carry out clandestine "pique" races on Avenida Aeropuerto in the city of Trujillo.

During the inspection, a checkpoint was placed where each of the motorcyclists were searched, however, one of them ignored the mandatory “stop” and tried to continue on their way at high speed.

Given the situation, an officer who had the helmet of another motorcyclist he was inspecting in his hands decided to stop them in any way and hit them.

The incident occurred early this Friday morning and left the three involved with serious injuries.

In the case of the agent, he was identified as Erik Ávalos Torres who suffered severe blows to the face and body.

Regarding those who were traveling on the motorcycle, they were identified as Jhon Verde Reyes, 23 years old, who will undergo surgery for facial injuries as well as the loss of teeth; and Pamela Florián Sánchez, 18 years old, who was the most affected with injuries to her head and spine.
