On the evening of December 21, Hoai My Commune Police (Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh ) said they were working with related people to investigate and clarify the case of Ms. BTB (44 years old, in Lo Dieu village, Hoai My commune) being murdered. The "half-hearted husband" doused her with gasoline, then set her on fire and had to be hospitalized for treatment.

Since the evening of December 20, a number of personal accounts on social network Facebook shared a clip containing the content of a woman lying in a hammock on the porch of a house when suddenly a man doused her with gasoline and set her on fire. The clip attracted many comments, most of whom expressed frustration and condemned the man's behavior.

According to the shared clip, around 9:38 p.m. on December 19, the woman was lying in a hammock with her body covered. At this time, a shirtless man ran out of the house, and a moment later took a bottle of gasoline and poured it on the hammock and the woman.

The woman got up, knocked the gasoline bottle out of the man's hand, then stood up (with her legs still standing on either side of the hammock) and asked, "What's so strange?" The man immediately bent down and turned on the gas lighter and the fire broke out. The woman ran away from the hammock, at which point her clothes were on fire.

When the woman ran to the gate, crying and calling for help, the man also chased after her, holding her hand and pulling her back. However, the woman escaped, while the man remained standing in the yard and threatened the woman. At this time, in the yard there were two small children running out of the house...

According to the determination of Hoai My Commune Police, the person who poured gasoline and set fire to Mrs. B. was Mr. BTA (35 years old, in Mo Duc District, Quang Ngai), who lived as husband and wife with Mrs. B. The two children in the clip is the common child of Mr. A. and Mrs. B.

After being burned, Ms. B. ran to the gate of her house, took off her burned clothes, then ran to a neighbor's house and was given first aid, changed her clothes, and taken to the emergency room at Bong Son Regional General Hospital. (Hoai Nhon town). Mrs. B. suffered burn injuries on her back, buttocks, legs and hands. After that, Ms. B. was transferred to Binh Dinh Provincial General Hospital for treatment.

Hoai My Commune Police have sent a report to the Hoai Nhon Town Police Investigation Agency about the above incident.
