A businessman was killed with a shot to the head in front of the commercial establishment he owned, in Pacajá, southwest of Pará. A security circuit camera recorded the moment of the criminal’s action last Saturday night (23).

In the video, you can see the moment when a man on a motorcycle arrives, turns around and parks the motorcycle. He gets out and leaves the vehicle running. There are some people in front of the establishment.

The motorcyclist is wearing a helmet so as not to be recognized, he walks to the location, pulls out his gun and fires several shots, then runs, puts away the weapon used in the crime, climbs into the vehicle and flees.

It all happened in a beverage distributor that the victim owned, in the center of the city. Zé Rocha ‘s companion informed the police that he was inside the commercial establishment and only heard the shots, when he ran and saw the merchant lying on the ground. He was shot in the head with a gunshot and succumbed to his injuries.

The businessman had posted on social media that a party would take place with guests at the commercial establishment on the same night as the crime. According to the Military Police, the victim had already been arrested for drug trafficking and minors staying at the distributor. José also worked as a first responder for the Pacajá Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) and was a public servant. The city council issued a note of condolence lamenting his death.

An investigation was opened by the Pacajá police station, which is investigating the case. So far, the suspect in the crime has not been identified nor what the motivation for the murder would be.
