The candidate of the Fuerza y ​​Corazón por Coyuca coalition was left lying on the covered field of the town of Las Lomas, where he would hold a rally after touring the streets of this town with supporters of the parties that make up this alliance.

The moment of the murder was captured in a recording that circulated through social networks. It shows that the candidate of the Fuerza y ​​Corazón alliance for Coyuca is shot at point-blank range, which unleashes chaos.

According to the first versions, the candidate received a coup de grace ; In the attack, 3 companions of the late candidate for mayor of Coyuquense were seriously injured.

After the attack, a security device was set up in the area, in which elements of the National Guard detained a male person , who, according to local communicators, is accused of being the alleged perpetrator of Alfredo Cabrera.

The events were strongly condemned by the governor of Guerrero, Evelyn Salgado , and she announced that to ensure that there is no impunity in these events, she has requested the Attorney General's Office of the State of Guerrero to carry out the pertinent investigations to apply the full weight of the law to the person or persons responsible for the commission of this crime.
