A shocking event shook the community of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, on the night of Tuesday, July 23. Juan Manuel López Salinas, a high school teacher, was kidnapped by armed men in front of his minor daughter.
The atrocious act was recorded on the home's security cameras and has generated great indignation and concern among the population.
According to surveillance videos, around 9:00 p.m., two trucks, a gold Tahoe with Texas plates and a red pickup truck, arrived at the home of Professor López Salinas located in the Las Fuentes neighborhood.
Two armed men got out of the Tahoe, while two other individuals got out of the other vehicle, also with firearms. The criminals threatened the teacher with their weapons, forcing him to get out of his truck and put him in the Tahoe.
The terrifying scene unfolded in a matter of seconds, as the professor's daughter, witnessing her father's abduction, tried to follow the kidnappers. However, unable to catch up with them, the minor returned to the house and closed the garage door.

This morning, activist Delia Quiroa revealed that the teacher had already been returned, and that he was at home with his family.
