The crime took place on Monday night (5), while the victim was working. The perpetrator of the homicide is still unknown. A supermarket security guard was shot dead at around 6:20 pm this Monday (5), in Feira de Santana, inside the commercial establishment, located on Rua Antônio Carlos Magalhães (ACM), in the Parque Ipê neighborhood, close to the Cidade Nova neighborhood. The victim was identified as Rodrigo Silva Rodrigues, who turned 38 years old last Saturday, August 3rd. According to information gathered by the Acorda Cidade portal, at the crime scene, two men arrived on a motorcycle and one of them got off and fired shots at the security guard, who was on his work shift. Witnesses reported that, after the murder, the men left the scene firing shots into the air. Security camera footage showed the moment when one of the killers, wearing a helmet, approached the victim and started shooting, continuing to shoot even after he had fallen. Before being shot, the victim surrendered, putting his hands on his head, but this did not stop the perpetrator from firing shots. A team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) arrived at the scene and confirmed the death. The body was collected by police officer André Ribeiro. .40 caliber shell casings were found at the scene of the homicide. |
