It has emerged that the two people who were killed inside the Directy Bar in Coatzacoalcos were Julio González Paz, 19, and Carlos Ramón Soto, 34, both without permanent employment, and who allegedly worked independently as "grasshoppers" selling drugs.

Just a few days ago, they were arrested by the police after being reported by citizens who claimed that this pair were offering bags of drugs on the boardwalk.

The events in which this pair lost their lives occurred at the "Directy Bar", which is located on Juárez Avenue, between Pedro Moreno and Abasolo, in the Manuel Ávila Camacho neighborhood.

The victims died after being wounded by firearms, although no further details of the armed attack have been given.

The double execution of these people prompted a rapid mobilization of the security forces, but no arrests have been reported of those responsible.

When Red Cross and Civil Protection paramedics arrived, the men had already died, so on this occasion it was not possible to give them first aid and transfer them to a hospital.
