A video shows the moment a 2-year-old child is brutally attacked by a dog while shopping with his mother. The incident occurred on Wednesday (18), in Qiandongnan, China.

In the images, it is possible to see that the girl was crying, as if she wanted to convince her mother to buy something for her.

However, it seems that the crying bothered the dog, who appeared unexpectedly and started biting the child.

The furious animal dragged the girl away while the desperate mother tried everything to save her daughter. In a reaction of pure desperation, the woman even threw wheat at the dog.

It was necessary for locals to hit the dog with pieces of wood and other objects to separate the animal from the child.

According to reports, the girl was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
