A young motorcyclist lost his life in a brutal accident involving a motorcycle, a pick-up truck and a van on the international highway CA-4, near the community of El Carrizal, municipality of San Nicolás, Copán.

The fatal accident was captured by security cameras in businesses near the scene.

The victim was identified as Alex Fernando Sanabria, 18 years old, originally from and resident of the community of Achiotal, in San Nicolás.

The young man was hit by a vehicle while leaving a gas station in the area, near the CA-4 highway.

The video shows how, upon entering the main road, Sanabria was violently hit by a car that, after the impact, collided with another van. The magnitude of the crash was so severe that both vehicles caught fire.

After the accident, the vehicles were completely destroyed and the motorcycle was broken into pieces.

The young motorcyclist's body was left lying on the side of the road, while the scene left extensive material damage, completely charred.

Local authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the details of the accident and determine the exact causes that led to this fatal outcome.
