An unfortunate accident occurred on route PY04, at kilometer 44, which connects San Ignacio with Pilar.

Luis Coronel, a man who was trying to rescue a lizard that was in the middle of the road, was run over by a vehicle in circumstances still under investigation. The incident occurred violently, and Coronel was rushed to the hospital, where he remains hospitalized.

In principle, he was assisted in the emergency room at the District Hospital of that city and subsequently transferred to Asunción.
