On Monday, October 14, a man who worked as a rubber tapper lost his life after being run over by a vehicle while he was carrying out his work.

The tragic accident occurred near the El Recreo Shopping Center in Barquisimeto, Lara state, an area with high traffic. According to eyewitnesses, the victim, whose name is still unknown, was changing a tire when he was hit by a car.

A video recorded by security cameras shows the moment when the vehicle ran over the worker.

It was also learned that the man lived in the Eligio Macías Mujica Urbanization and allegedly died instantly due to the strong impact.
