Anamã – A 26-year-old man died after accidentally shooting himself in the neck this Thursday (7), in the municipality of Anamã.

According to information from family members, the man was handling a homemade weapon inside one of the rooms of his house when two shots were heard. The victim then came out bleeding with his hand on his neck and said he had “thrown himself”.

The man was rescued and taken to a hospital in the city but did not survive his injuries and died. The weapons were seized by the police and the case will be investigated.
