In a cowardly way, Cardete Ferreira attacked his former companion with several stabs on Thursday (12/05), in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo (117 kilometers from Manaus). The attempted feminicide is investigated by the Civil Police.

The case of extreme violence against women, identified as "Brenda", occurred in the Boa Esperança community, in a site located at kilometer 120 of BR-174. A security camera recorded the criminal action of the 54-year-old author.

Cardete invaded the property driving a motorcycle, this place being the residence of the author's brother, in possession of a knife. He went towards his ex-partner and began to deliver several blows in the presence of his children.

In the images, one of the 8-year-old children tried to defend his own father's mother. With a piece of wood, the little one hit the aggressor's head and then clung to him so that his mother could escape and seek help. A neighbor arrived at the scene and prevented the perpetrator from killing the victim, using a Tuesday.

The perpetrator of the attempted femicide fled soon after and promised to return to conclude what he had not achieved. He has a preventive arrest warrant and is still wanted by the 37th Interactive Police Station (DIP) of Presidente Figueiredo, coordinated by delegate Valdinei Silva.
