A brutal crime was reported on the night of December 8 in a mini-supermarket located in the Loma Cová sector, Arraiján district.
At 8:26 pm, five armed men broke into the establishment and, in order to commit a violent robbery, killed the security guard with several shots.
The robbery, which lasted about two minutes, began when the criminals entered the premises wearing hoods and masks to make their identification difficult.
Video of the crime shows someone who was in the premises next door close the door from the outside in an attempt to contain them. However, this did not stop the criminals, who shot at the door repeatedly while shouting “Open the door!” when they could not find a way out.
In their attempt to escape, the robbers ended up escaping through a small window that is usually used to serve customers. The video also shows how they kept the loot, cash, in one of the backpacks they carried with them.
Authorities are investigating the case, but so far no details have been released about the identity of those responsible.
The National Police is offering $3,000.00 as a reward for reliable information that would lead to the identification of those responsible for the crime.
