A drunk driver ran over three women, one of whom died, in the town of San Francisco Solano and was arrested for the crime of negligent homicide. It happened on Sunday, when the women were returning from church and crossed the middle of San Martín Avenue.

As can be seen in the video recorded by a security camera, the victims were about to reach the other side of the road when they were hit at high speed by a driver in a Renault 12. One was thrown off by the impact. The other two were lifted straight into the air.

One of them, aged 76, died from her serious injuries, while another was left lying near the fatal victim, and the third was dragged several metres above the bonnet of the car, whose driver escaped. Witnesses were able to give details of the subject and the poor condition of the vehicle.

Following initial investigations, the police were able to arrest the driver, who was subjected to a breathalyzer test, which gave a positive result with 1.53 g/l of alcohol in the blood. In addition, the officers managed to seize the car involved in the crash, with its front window broken.

The two women who managed to survive are hospitalized and it was reported that one of them is in serious condition. The subject was arrested and charged with the crime of negligent homicide.
