The incident took place at night in Yeni Mahalle, Serik district on Saturday, February 15. An unidentified person wearing a helmet in his head, who came to the workplace belonging to Orhan Karasu with a motorcycle, poured gasoline on the parked tractor and set it on fire. Meanwhile, the gasoline poured on him and on the motorcycle also caught fire.

The pedestrian left the fire-on motorcycle with the coat on the unidentified person and drove away from the scene. After the incident, the business owner and his relatives got out of the apartment building with the notification of the neighbors and intervened with water hoses in the fire.

Upon notification, 112 firefighters and police teams were dispatched. While the investigation of the incident after the extinguished fire was started, work was started to catch the suspect.

The moment of the incident was instantly reflected on the security cameras. The suspect, who came with his motorcycle, poured gasoline towards the tractor with the bottle in his hand. While it was observed that gasoline was scattered around, it was seen that the suspect, the motorcycle he was using and the tractor caught fire as the suspect lit the fire.

Orhan Karasu, the owner of the workplace, said, "After leaving my workplace in the evening, a person comes with a motorcycle around 01:30 at night. He is trying to burn my tractor and my vehicles. This is a shame. I have been a tradesman for 35 years. I have never been enmitious with anyone until now, I have not done harm to anyone. It is sad that such incidents happen.

I want those who did this to be punished. My tractor is on fire here. There are 8 apartments with natural gas in the building. If there is an explosion, the collar itself and those living in the building will be damaged. They also shot my shop before.

I don't know who has enmity with me. I don't owe anyone. They beat my child twice to scare me. They pierced my natural gas pipe and burned my tractor lastly. There is no such attror. My heart is burning.

The person who carried out the attack caught fire when he poured the gasoline he poured on himself to burn my tractor. When his own motorcycle caught fire, he left it and ran away on foot by taking off his coat. People need to be sensitive.
