The head of government, Clara Brugada reported that the public servants who assaulted a feminist merchant and transsexual in the Alameda have already been arrested.
Therefore, he said, they were made available to the capital's Attorney General's Office to continue with the corresponding legal process.
He added that "the affected person is being cared for and receiving all the necessary support until his recovery."
Likewise, Brugada Molina condemned the aggression of two of these public officials.
He added that nothing justifies violence and pointed out that all public servants must act in accordance with the law.
"I strongly and categorically condemn the aggression by two people in functions of regulation of the public road, to a merchant in the Alameda. Nothing justifies violence. All public servants are obliged to act with strict adherence to human rights, the principle of non-violence and the law," he said.
Finally, he pointed out that "we are not going to allow this type of act to be repeated in our city."
