The Mammoth Lakes Police Department has released body cam footage following a fatal shooting incident involving police earlier this month. It happened on March 4 when officers opened fire on 39-year-old Jesus Corona Uribe of Mammoth Lakes. Uribe was armed with rocks, which he was allegedly throwing at cars before officers arrived. When police got on scene, he allegedly charged toward them holding the rocks after refusing orders from officers. Officers then opened fire. Lifesaving measures were attempted, and first responders provided medical aid. Uribe was taken to Mammoth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
