Valeria Márquez, a 23-year-old beauty content creator and TikTok influencer, was tragically murdered while livestreaming from her beauty salon in Zapopan, Jalisco. The attack occurred at Blossom the Beauty Lounge, her business located at the intersection of Servidor Público and Emperadores Mexicanos in the Real del Carmen area.
According to initial reports, an unidentified man entered the salon during the live broadcast and fatally shot Márquez. The livestream, which began as a routine session, quickly turned into a record of the horrific event. A second individual appeared on screen moments before the stream abruptly ended, and the video quickly went viral.
Local authorities and paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after receiving a 911 emergency call. Márquez was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family members were also present shortly after the incident.

The Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office confirmed that a Public Ministry agent and Investigative Police are actively collecting testimonies and evidence. Experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences are processing the scene, and the victim’s body has been transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for autopsy. Authorities emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and that current details remain preliminary.
