A verbal confrontation inside a Rochester 7-Eleven escalated into a physical altercation after a man and woman reportedly directed racial slurs at another customer, according to a witness statement and video footage.

The incident began outside the store, where the couple was allegedly speaking loudly. Inside the 7-Eleven, the woman attempted to purchase items but her card was declined. Witnesses say she refused to accept the declined transaction and repeatedly demanded milk for her child.

A man man, who was also in the store, reportedly intervened. According to the witness, he informed the woman that her husband was waiting outside and instructed her to get her phone to complete payment. He also told her she needed to go to the end of the line.

Following this exchange, tensions escalated, and the confrontation turned physical, as seen in the video.

Authorities have not yet released a statement regarding the incident, and it remains under investigation.
