The Los Angeles Police Department has released body-worn camera footage from a non-fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on May 3 in the 900 block of East 118th Avenue in South Los Angeles. Officers responded to a domestic violence call involving a suspect reportedly armed with what appeared to be a rifle.

Upon arrival, officers encountered the individual and opened fire during the confrontation. The suspect was struck but survived the incident and was taken into custody. No officers were injured.
