A 35-year-old man named Mubarik tragically drowned while attempting a stunt in a swimming pool on Saturday at a farmhouse in the Nanta area of Kota city, Rajasthan.

Mubarik, a resident of the Chashme Ki Bawdi area near Ghantaghar, had attended a party with a group of 20 to 25 friends. According to his friend Aman, after lunch, Mubarik decided to perform a stunt in the swimming pool and asked his friends to record it. He ran and jumped into the pool, remaining underwater for nearly 10 seconds. Moments later, his body surfaced, floating upside down.

His friends quickly pulled him out and rushed him to MBS Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Aman told police that Mubarik may have suffered a silent cardiac arrest, but the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem report.

Mubarik worked in the furniture business and was the sole breadwinner for his family, which includes his elderly parents, wife, and three children. The family had previously lost Mubarik’s elder brother four years ago, making him the primary support for the household.

Police have recorded witness statements and are awaiting the medical report to determine the cause of death. The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.
