A security camera video recorded the moment when a criminal entered a commercial establishment in Medellin and shot at the diners he was going to rob. In the middle of the incident, a citizen grabbed a chair and hit the thief.

The incident occurred on the night of Wednesday, February 26, inside a bar in the El Poblado neighborhood. According to preliminary information, three people were injured.

In the video, a group of people can be seen sharing time at the bar around 11:06 p.m., when, seconds later, a criminal dressed in a black jacket, blue jeans and a black cap intercepts them and points a firearm at them.

One of the people who was at the table where the criminal arrived tried to confront him and the latter slapped him. Then, the man who confronted the criminal began to struggle with him, to which the thug responded by shooting once at the floor.

The citizen continued to confront the criminal and he shot again, amid the confusion and fear of the customers of the commercial bar, who began to flee from the subject with the firearm.

When the criminal fired a second shot, another citizen who was at the table grabbed a chair and hit the robber’s head with it . The criminal fell to the floor, but managed to quickly get up, get up and flee the scene.

After almost a minute, the criminal escaped from the place and several customers of the place went out to chase him, among them, the same man who hit the thief. With another chair in his hand, the citizen went after the criminal to try to stop him.

The first man who confronted the criminal is seen seconds later appearing with his right hand on his chest, as he had been injured by the criminal’s firearm.

So far, the authorities in Medellín have not commented on this crime, it is not known exactly how many people were injured and it is also unknown about the health status of the man who is seen at the end of the recording with his hand on his chest after being wounded by a bullet.
