SURABAYA, - Heavy rain that poured down on Surabaya City , East Java on Tuesday (12/24/2024) afternoon claimed a victim. A 3.5-year-old boy fell and was swept away by the strong current in the gutter around his house.

In the CCTV footage , the victim named Rizky, a resident of Babatan Gang II F Wiyung, was seen with three of his friends playing in the rain without parental supervision. They were seen engrossed in playing until they approached a gutter whose water was overflowing.

Rizky then approached the gutter with a strong current due to heavy rain and suddenly fell into the gutter. In an instant, his body disappeared, carried away by the strong current of the gutter.
